We are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and committed to the historic Presbyterian form of the Christian tradition by our subscription to the Westminster Confession of Faith.
The PCA from early days has been:
“Faithful to the Scriptures, True the Reformed faith, Obedient to the great Commission of Jesus Christ.”
Most of all, we are committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, the grand story of God’s grace, which is this:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4), made us alive with Christ through his righteousness (Romans 5:18-19) so that we might become the children of God (John 1:12).
Every PCA congregation belongs to a regional network of congregations called a presbytery. A presbytery is organized to do essential business such as ordaining ministers, overseeing the churches, and to support one another in a cooperative way. Ours is called the Southeastern Korean Presbytery, comprising about 50 churches and several new church plants.
NCA EM is also under the leadership of the elders of NCA KM. Together we work harmoniously and in unity for our common vision, which is to make and deploy mature and equipped followers of Jesus Christ for the sake of family, community, and global transformation.
NCA EM was built from the ground up from 2015 with 4 EM members, 4 KM members, and Rev. John Kim and his family.
By God's grace the EM congregation since then had grown to about 140 Sunday attendees each week.
In the fall of 2024, with the blessing of NCA KM elders and Pastor Cho, our senior pastor,
Rev. John Kim was sent out to plant a new church with the core group made up of former NCA EM members (Solus Presbyterian Church PCA).
There were no conflicts nor dissension, but only a unified desire to see God’s kingdom expand through church multiplication.
We are currently in an exciting season of rebuilding NCA EM with a small group of remaining core members.
We would love for you to take part in this new journey with us. We are thankful to God for what he has done,
and we are eagerly looking forward to what he will do in the future.
